We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our friendly, independent village pub group, at The Dusty Miller, Harlow. The ideal candidate will be :
Friendly and confident
- Motivated to ensure the smooth running of shifts
- Possess the ability to communicate concisely a with colleagues and customers alike
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working in the hospitality industry
Your role will involve(but not be limited to) :
- working alongside the head chef and general manager to help build the business
- opening and closing the site
- running the site in the absence of the GM
- stock and cash control
- ordering and stock taking
- managing and motivating the team
- identifying opportunities to drive sales and acting on them
- function management
- ensuring the team deliver fantastic service at all times
